Construction Academy graduate Addison Bond a project manager for Williamsburg Homes in Howard County addressed the class through lecture and discussion on Tuesday November 11. Addison presented pictures of the seven, million dollar plus homes he is building here in Howard County. Addison spoke about the day to day activities of managing sub-contractors, clients, suppliers, and employees under his supervision. With a bachelors degree from Penn College a component of The Penn State University Addison gave examples of the effect of post secondary education on construction careers. Addison is twenty five years old, owned his own home at 23, and the students relate well to his presentation. This is a great example of students giving back to their community.
