Young Adult Leadership Program Contest Winner!

Congratulations to Surmayee Jain who won the Dale Carnegie Leadership Essay Contest at the Applications & Research Laboratory (ARL).  Surmayee received a scholarship to The Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program (YALP) which will be held in Western Howard County this summer.  She had the best essay describing what leadership means, where she has seen it demonstrated and the essential characteristics of a great leader. Surmayee will participate in the  Dale Carnegie Young Adult Leadership Program for 14 to 19 year old students.  The equivalent teenage version of the World Famous Dale Carnegie Course used by over 420 of the Fortune 500 companies.   She will learn to:

Communicate more confidently in front of groups; Enhance her leadership abilities within sports teams, clubs and projects and if need be manage her attitude, procrastination and stress.  Surmayee will be able to sell her ideas and herself in interviews and college applications, develop even greater confidence and expand her comfort zone.   If your student might be interested in doing what Surmayee will be doing this summer please click www.dalecarnegieyouth.com for more information
