Current 8-11 grade students and their parents/guardians are invited to check out ARL’s Career Academies at our in-person information sessions.

Are you interested in an immersive, hands-on, and project-based learning experience? Are you looking for real-world experience and credentials in a career field? Come see what we offer!

Schedule-Agenda

  • 6:15-6:30 p.m. Walk about to explore academies and find first session
  • 6:40-7:00 p.m. Session I
  • 7:05-7:25 p.m. Session II

From Biotech to Health Professions, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, Cybersecurity, Graphic Design, Animation, Automotive Technology, Agricultural Science, Construction, Finance, Aerospace and Civil Engineering and Architectural Design, our programs are designed to provide high school students with opportunities to earn college credit, scholarships, and industry-recognized credentials, participate in worksite and mentorship experiences, and become creative problem solvers by participating in hands-on project-based learning. Current 11th grade students are also invited to visit to learn about Apprenticeship Maryland programs.

Parking at Applications and Research Lab (ARL) is limited. Please plan to arrive at the ARL early to ensure time to park at either at the ARL, Homewood or Department of Education lots next to the ARL.
