Biotechnology students expressed a protein in bacterial cells and purified it in lab. Today, Dr. Dan Rudolf, of Emergent Biosolutions, Inc., gave a presentation on the production and purification of proteins for vaccines and therapeutics. Students gained a real appreciation of how the techniques they are learning at the ARL are applied in the pharmaceutical industry.

Skills USA Raises Money For Grassroots

Change for Change The Howard County Applications and Research Laboratory (ARL) Chapter of Skills USA, under the program sponsorship of Rhonda Lang, led a “Change for Change” war between the different academies at ARL.
